My barrel is not cut yet, The picture showing the before and after shot is what my SCAR will look like when I get my barrel cut hear in the near future. I plan to go with the 10.5 inch barrel due to AAC recommendations on their suppressors using anything shorter than a 10.5 inch barrel and the info from FN SCAR specs on gas pressure issues with shorter barrels. I was going with Hi-Desert Tactical in NV. But I haven't called them to see about the specifics yet. They seem to be a knowledgeable FN dealer and gunsmith. I have to get the ball rolling on the Form 1 paperwork before I send the barrel off to them. Still a work in progress on that issue. I've read many posts on Mr Marvin Pitts and from what I've read he does stellar work but I hear he's hard to get a hold of and he has lots of work and maybe backed up a bit. But I guess it wouldn't matter due to the lengthy process to get the tax stamp in the first place I suppose a few weeks or months to get the barrel cut with Mr Pitts could be the way to go. But I get impatient sometimes.
