I purchased the black SCAR17 last year and mounted a Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50 (MOAR) with an Aadland 20moa mount. While it was a great shooting rifle, I wanted something a little lighter. Just recently I purchased an FDE SCAR17 and mounted a Vortex Razor HD GenII 1-6x24 (VMR-2 MRAD) with an Aadland 20moa mount. A bit lighter but the Vortex Razor does have some weight to it. At some point I want to see for myself which is more accurate. I'll post the results.

Good looking set, That fde 17 with the vortex looks a little handier though. Will be waiting for that range report, maybe swap the optics back and forth to get a fair comparison between them for accuracy.

I didn't notice a lot of difference in weight between the FDE or BLACK 17 either, but they sure do look nice together !

Nice Scars and choice on the scopes! I've had the chance to shoot with the razor once and found it to be a really nice optic.
