Hello, Newbie to the forum. Have a 16s and now added big brother to my collection. Had it now for six days and ran 200ish rounds with sub MOA groups at 100 (im in love) I have noticed that every piece of brass has a single line/scratch/minor dent at the neck. Just getting into reloading (with my dads assistance) and am wondering if this is normal for the 17S.

Normal. It won't affect the ability to reload the brass.

Normal, Better than my H&K 91,puts a mean dent.The brass is good to reload.I use if you can find it Varget,with Sierra 168 match kings.

Good news. I have heard alot of good remarks about Varget. Im trying to get varget and RL-15. Currently loading 46gr 4350, 165 gr Nosler Bal Tip. Just using what i have for now. Thanks for the info. FYI just ordered 100 Sierra 168's and give it a try.
