Here's the Forward Rail Mount CD made for a US Army contract requirement that specified a field user level add-on Mil-Std 1913 rail mount for the standard M16 & M4 handguards. The side rail is totally ambidextorous and can be installed in 3 different positions (forward,middle,rear)along the length of the rail. These are meant as a low-cost alternative to installing a complete Rail Interface System in place of the handguards, so those already in the field can install the rail mount instead of an expensive and timely install at the Depot level.

Cool! I'll buy a set. I was looking at buying another set of railed replacement handguards or one of those vertical grips that mount through the holes of a standard M4 handguard. I would rather try on of your setups. :?

Got my set today! Looks good fits well on my Stag. Only ***** is the screws aren't long enough. Will head to hardware store today to get some about a 1/4" longer! That should do the job. :?
