I just saw this add on the back of Guns & Ammo and haven't seen it mentioned. I also don't see it yet on FN's page. Buy a 5.7 between now and March 31st and you get 200 rounds of ammo for free.

Of Course locally I've seen them between $900-1050 for a USG.

If you simply need to buy your 5.7 before that date, most current owners qualify for the free ammo. That would be huge for me as I bought mine (stupidly) from Gander Mtn. and paid too much.

I'm really surprised they didn't put a start date on that. I bet I looked at that ad on the back of Guns and Ammo 5 times to find one. I wanted to make sure it didn't start on January 1st in case I needed to wait to buy my 5.7.

BTW, the offer is on FN's page today.

Mine was faxed on 1/3/08. I wouldn't be surprised if I was the first person to send it in since the ad wasn't even on their site then. I keep expecting to see the ammo as I'd hope that would already be in stock.

Why do they require a copy of the 4473?

Seems like Uncle Sam might not like that too much.

Or maybe they DO like it. Maybe that gives them an avenue for a back-door way to see who bought these pistols....?

Maybe since there is no UPC code to send in they want to try and confirm you actually got one. My shop would not give me a copy of my 4473 for my PS90 and FN had no issue with that when I asked them.

If you remember one of the past FN Q&A, there was a simular quesiton about FN promotions and 4473.
They don't really need it. Just fax in your receipt and FN rebate.
I wouldn't worry too much about it.

It's only Feb 3rd, and the offer didn't come up until around the 1st of Jan I believe. When ya jump on it that quick - they probably take a little while for enough people to send in their stuff to process them in batches...

I'm impatient. I faxed mine in before Jan 1st as I found the coupon in the back of a mag. I figure I'm the first one so we'll know when they start.

I faxed mine today, but the dealer would only give me a copy of the first and last page of the form. I called FN if this would be a problem and the young lady on the other line informed that I would need all pages of the form or risk the chance of not getting the ammo.

Does somebody have a contact person at FN that can deny/verify this.
