I picked up my first ever FN product this week an FNS-40....

and excellent hand gun it shot fantastic and really blew me away at the quality and value plus 3 mags [email protected]@!

...esp since I picked it up for 369 on a palmetto daily deal Im even happier !

My question is on the trigger,its kinda heavy and comes in at 7+ lbs on my trigger scale
and while its plenty crisp I would like to get it into the 5-5.5 lb range...Any suggestions ?

I love my FNS-40 also, and I agree about the trigger. I'm sending mine out for a trigger job, hoping that lightens and smoothes it out.

Who is doing trigger work on these and what are they doing?

My trigger is amazing from the factory. Everyone who has felt it goes "wow". Guess I got a good one lol.

Mine started between 6.5 and 7 and broke in between 5 and 5.5. It's crisp and breaks like glass, and more importantly for me, it's light enough to fire, but heavy enough to know you're firing it.
