Just finalized a trade deal for a FNP-45 Tactical and I couldnt be more excited!

I'm a 1911 guy at heart and realized that my Springfield MC Operator Project was going to go out of control $$$ wise so I posted it for sale on numerous forums and a gentleman offered me a trade I couldnt refuse.

Its test fire date is 12/19/2011 and I'm told its been running flawless since new. From what I understand its the most recent "FNP" variant with all the FNX upgrades...

It comes with 11 magazines, 4 holsters, case and all the goodies.

I have a AAC Ti-Rant 45 on Form 4, it'll live on this pistol once it finally clears. The RMR in the pictures was not included in the trade but I'll be looking for a RM02 6.5MOA shortly.

I look forward to learning my way around a new platform and being a part of this forum for many years to come!

I have one other "FN" pistol that is also an ongoing project. A MKIII Hi Power from Belgium. (in the pic below). It'll eventually be worked over by Mr. Williams when the time/money allow.

Any tips/tricks on my new toy would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know how much you had in your Springfield MC Operator Project, but I can promise you that you made a heck of a good trade... very well done! I'm excited for you, I LOVE my FNP-45T, it's the best shooting, most fun and most advanced firearm in my collection. There are two guns I have shot that totally 'fit me' and make me a better shooter: the FNP-45T and my modified Ruger GP100. The first time I took my FNP-45T out shooting I was nailing golf balls at 30 feet with PMC Bronze like it was nothing.

What kind of light are you going to get? If you don't go with a Streamlight TLR-2(s), I'll take that holster in pic two off your hands, I need one... ;)

I bought my MC Operator as a project gun, its finish was worn but its mechanical condition seemed excellent. I think I did well on the trade also. I have yet to use a Streamlight TLR weapon light but figure its cheaper to buy a light than to have a Raven holster made. We'll see how it works out and I'll keep you posted.

Thank you everyone for the kind words!
