Hey all, I'm looking at an FS2000 for about $1700 out the door. Is that a reasonable price considering that the new FS2000 with the factory optics (which I heard is not that great) is due out soon?

Oh my yes- mine was brand new at $2000 from the local shop!

I also heard bad things about the optics- save the $ and get an EOTech or some such instead.

Yeah, that's what you'd call a "screaming deal". I paid $1899 for mine and I felt that was reasonable. I'd take an FS2K for $1700 any day of the week and twice on Sunday!
