Hello everyone...I'm brand new to the FN world from the M14 life. I love my wood and steel rifles but I am in the midst of selling one to fund a nice used FDE SCAR 17.

I'm actually picking up my first FN today at lunch, a FDE FNX45. I'm a huge 1911 fan and have a couple Ed Brown but I can't argue with the rugged simplicity of the FNX45....15 rounds of .45 ACP also makes quite an impression!

Anyway, hopefully I can learn a lot on this site and not make myself look too much a fool.

I know the SCAR will be but so far my experience with the FNX45 has been disappointing. The mags only drop free about 40% of the time....that really isn't acceptable.
