Looks like a great pistol...Appears to feed any ammo really smooth. But the bore axis seems higher and recoils more than the mighty FNS LONG SLIDE. And...Annnnnnd, the FNS LONG SLIDE is prettier. And yes it matters lol. It holds only 15 rounds of 9mm too. The grips have great variety in sizes, 27 different ways the video says. But I'm not straying from my FNS, not even for hk, and yes I intentionally didn't capitalize hk...I haven't even shot it and I can say I'm not switching. Thaaaaaaats right I said it !!! Good post though, as this is big news. I'm sure some will love it because it has the hk brand behind it, and the price is good. But at the end of the day, it's a walther ppq copy...Oh gees, I'm sorry...did I not capitalize the little brand of walther ppq intentionally too...That's right I did it again !!! FNS LONG SLIDE IS STILL KING OF THE HILL in my subtle, yet humble opinion.

Nice looking gun. Only two things I don't like, wish it was available in .40s&w and would prefer the rear sight had an edge to be able to rack the slide with one hand.

This might be just the replacement for my HK P9s. I haven't found a pistol yet that fits my hands like my old P9S. Most of the double stacks pistols feel like I'm holding a chunk of two x four not a firearm. If the new H&K has as good a trigger as my P9s it would be a must buy for me.

I preordered mine last week. I think this is going to be a huge success for HK. Where I preordered mine, you can get it as low as $550 shipped. Thats right, an HK new for less than $600.

I cant wait to stack it up to my FNS.

I agree on the .40 S&W.

They may not be pronounced enough to do what you want, but the slide has HK's "patented charging supports", two ears at the end of the rear slide serrations to enhance slide manipulation.

I know HK took some ergo tips from Walther for p30, but this is kinda blatant; this looks a lot like PPQ and PPX.

Good news is that it looks nothing like the fugly vp70.

Like a pornographic film with a plot, I am strangely intrigued by this. MSRP is low considering the company; perhaps going after that Glock/M&P crowd.

From everything I've seen the trigger is very very nice. Like ppq short and has a real nice break. My only issue is short plus light not so great on a no safety gun. Too many NDs with a glock that has take up and a heavier break. But I can't picture it ever having a safety. The ppq is not a duty gun, the Hk will be.

I have one on order with my LGS. This payday I'm gonna order some Trijicon HDs and a couple of spare magazines for it.
