So, new member, and not really a gun person. However, I found an old FN rifle in the attic a couple years ago, and I'm hoping someone here can enlighten me with any info.
A friend has the rifle right now doing some research and seems to think it's a 9mm shotgun. Never heard of that.

My "find" is the one at the bottom of the page.
I found this site this morning and since it's all about FN guns, it would be a good place for info.

Nice find! Wish I could find some relics in my attic!

I don't see anything online through a quick search with the FN 1912 & 9m, mostly .22LR.

I'm interested to hear what you find out about it.

The stock is plain, and mine is in better condition than this one, including the metal.
You have to pull that "pin" in order to fire, and then there's that ejector lever.
If this was any type of rifle used in war, seems like you'd be dead before you could reload.
It's a real small gun....maybe the size of a Daisy BB gun.

I stand corrected. After a google search, apparently 9mm shotguns were made. They were called garden guns for shooting pests and rodents.

Yep, 9mm "garden gun". It fires Flobert 9mm rimfire shot shells. Fiocchi still makes them.
