Ok, I know this is going to be a dumb question, and at best will probably make most roll their eyes or laugh, but here goes.

Some time ago, I purchased a PS90 second-hand. It has a Gen 3 hammer pack, which has a broken part in it. It has always functioned fine, and never had any malfunctions, but I noticed that a piece of one of the parts is broken off. I am worried about whether it will break more, or could possibly cause a malfunction.
I see online where people sell Gen 1 and 2 hammer packs for what is (to me) a ridiculous price. I cannot possibly see spending $800 or $900 on a hammer pack. Personally, I don't care whether I get a Gen 1, 2, 3, or 4, but I need a replacement. Preferably, due to cost, I am looking for either a 3 or 4, and I have made a "WTB" post on the forum seeking one.
I'm posting this here, to see if anyone has any leads on parts dealers, suppliers, or some way to order replacement parts. I've looked at Midwest Gun Works, and they show the hammer pack as being $75, but also out of stock. Google searching has come up with nothing but "rare" and super expensive Gen 1 and 2's. Surely there has to be SOMEPLACE to get replacement parts, right?
I'm new to FN Herstal, and to PS90s, but the fact that a currently produced modern firearm has absolutely zero repair parts available? It's just ridiculous. I'm used to AR15s where I can generally find replacement parts anywhere. I don't understand why things are so tight for PS90 parts.
I emailed FNH USA to see if I can possibly buy one from them, but I don't know if they will sell me a hammer pack. I have a feeling they will want the entire gun shipped in to them, and given that the broken part is in the hammer pack, I am not sure if they will assume something sinister has been done to the gun, tampering wise, and I don't know how they will be to deal with.
Any help would be appreciated. I am only looking to fix my PS90, and I'm desperate for a hammer pack in 100% working order.
