Well Ive had my 1022 in the Promag Archangel Nomad stock for a while...my other 22s were getting more action because they were threaded....I came across this video and had to have the same barrel set up... Its the Tactical Solutions SBX barrel.

Shot it today after my coworkers and I modified it to fit correctly and man its a blast to shoot. I have a demo EOTech on it and it gets the job done. gonna get a plain stubby VFG at somepoint....those rail accessories are just junk I had laying around that needed to be put to use. Now all I need is a tacticool led light.

it certainly looks Gee whiz but what I don't understand is why they raised the top rail? Raising the top rail only hurts it's accuracy. Is it for looks or is there a mechanical reason?

It's a 22 clone(ish) of the G36c Kam, so purely for looks. The raised rail doesn't hurt accuracy, just screws with your dope/compensation.

Yea its a total range toy. It would be kinda fun to go after squirrels and rabbits with though!

On the G36 the charging handle is under the rail and it is raised so that you can charge the gun. It is also ambi which is cool. The G36 is my favorite gun to shoot full auto.

Rcm192 your setup looks great. The barrel just adds more to the cool factor.

Beautiful work! Nice plinker... I still love to play with da rimfire too... My current toy is a HK MP 5 A5. Glad I had a goodly amount of ammo stored; da new normal for rimfire is stupid high... I remember when...!!

i should have specified. I have the same "issue" with the PS90 except it's not really an issue because it's a close range rifle.
