New Scar17: loose hardware??

Hey guys. New to the forum. Just bought my first scar. Finally!! Anyways, I was removing the gas piston when I noticed the nut for the front sight post bolt is loose and rocks back and forth. The roll pins stop it from coming off so I guess it supposed to be like that?? Is anyone' else loose as well? I was just going to tighten it up but I don't want to shear the pins or anything. Thanks in advance.

I believe someone said before the bottom of the windage screw is captured by a roll pin but you should be able to snug that nut, just don't over tighten.
