I have Ameri-Glo night sights on all three of mine. The third is actually my Browning Pro-40 which is now my carry pistol since I have the option of cocked and locked. The one thing about these sights is that they list two different sets for the 9 and the .40. From what I can tell, they are all the same. I have purchased both sets, and put them in. There is no difference. Trust me, you won't be disappointed with the Ameri-Glo's.

My opinions on night sights is that I will put them on any thing I possibly can, even just for low light conditions. I have them on my colt 6920 in both the front and rear. (Really only need the front) And on my go to AR in the front back up iron.

I've been wanting to get Ameri-Glo but am not sure how to replace the sights. Is it simply a case of tapping the old ones out and tapping the new ones in? Is there any specific procedure to lining them up correctly? Just want to make sure I don't shoot my wife if an intruder breaks in....wait a minute...on second thought... :-D

In my area, local smiths charge $20 - $25 to install sights. I'd do that if U aren't sure what you are doing. I have read SO many stories over the years of people damaging their slides trying to install sights.

1. I saw on the Ameriglo site that they have a set of sights in green for the rear and yellow for the front. They are out of stck right now.
2. Able Ammo is a good place to buy. They are quick and accurate. I purchased a Benelli Shotty for my son in law there and was very happy with the entire procedure.
3. Great advice about having a smith put the sights on. It will save you a lot in the long run,

I just ordered my Ameriglo sights from Able ammo. It will run me $82.09 delivered to me. Then, another $25 to get them installed.
I wanted the green rear and yellow front but had to settle for green all around. Such is life.

My night sights were installed for just under $22.00. Anyone in Minnesota looking to have it done right, I had them done at Ahlman's in Morristown, MN.
They also ddi a bang up trigger job and wheel chamfering on my S&W M10-3.
Prices are right and the work is A++

Here is their website: http://www.ahlmans.com/

This is very strange.
I saw some writing on the sides of my "Ameriglo" sights and it said "TRIJICON" on them. I will call the Gun smith tomorrow and find out what is up.

This is very strange

I'm wondering if the sites for the regular pistol would also work for 9-M or not. I wouldn't see why unless the front would be too large from the shorter barrel (barely though). IMO, if the 9-M had better sights, it would be the most perfect pistol I've ever fired. Currently, the sights sit too low on the slide, which has a curved top, so it interferes with the sight picture as does the bottom of the rear sight, since the dots are so low on it.

I'd just rather be for sure at $80 that they're actually going to be worthwhile improvement

I wish I could tell you how good the Ameriglo sights were. I bought a pair last month direct from the company and took them to be installed at Ahlman's here in Minnie So Cold. When I went to pick them up the FN9 had Trijicons on it. I kept my mouth shut and brought it home. ?????????

I think Ameriglo is the only company currently manufacturing night sights for the FNP's, but I could be wrong. There are only a few places licensed to install tritium, so Ameriglo may use Trijicon. All guessing on my part though.

I don't think there are any other sites yet - the gun is too new.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't the gun been out since 2003? The S&W M&P already has sights out for it and it came out two years ago. I'd LOVE to see XS 24/7 Big Dot sights become available for the FNP. :?
