New guy here considering purchasing a PS90. I see "STANDARD" and "LE" models and am wondering what differences are between the two. Also, is LE only available to LE or can a civilian legally purchase?

The only difference is the L.E. Model ships with a 50 round magazine whereas the Standard ships with a 30 round (or a 10 round).

The L.E. Is supposed to be sold only to law enforcement as it WAS heavily discounted.

LE refers to the law enforcement, military, ret mil, first responders, etc program that FN had? for certain people. The standard is the model available to both but the LE version can have a ir or vis light laser. There are other differences as well but the basic firearm is the same for civ and LE personnel, just a discounted price for those that qualify.

Thank you so much for the quick replies. I was hoping it was something simple. I asked because I found an LE model with 50 round magazine and this statement "...LE model with single rail that can be removed for factory optics." I was unsure if that was LE specific or available on STD, as well.

Welcome to the forums. If you cant find any cheaper, there are some PS 90s on Gunbroker for $1,080.00 Buy it now. They are the STD model with a 50 round mag.


EDIT: If you do buy a PS 90, stick to the factory FN mags and don't buy those el cheapo mags.
