I can probably meet up in a couple weeks...my next couple are busy. I'm picking up my PS90 from Point Blank tomorrow :<>: and don't even have time to shoot it for several days. I work about 1/4 mile from there so I suppose I could meet at lunch time. -John

I need to check out the point blank range sometime. I've been in the shop (where the girl working the counter told me that 5.7 was an extinct round). Despite that misinformation, I'd like to try their range at least once!

I'll be there around 11 a.m. I'll probly eat up most of my lunch hour just taking care of the paperwork. If you're there then, I'll be easy to spot...the only guy with a new ps90, a grin from ear to ear, and of my appendages standing at attention. heheh

Although there hasn't been a case prosecuted for the mag limit, there is always a first. I snagged a couple 30 rnders and use them at the range, just in case there are leos around ;)

The good thing is one can't tell the difference between the 50 rd and 30 rd, unless you get a good look at the number of rounds in the mag...just sayin'. I need to pick up a couple more 30's.

Maybe one night this week. Instead of my ps90, they got in a 5-7 pistol. I almost bought it ($1190+tax) but elected to stay at the top of the ps90 list and wait it out. :Bubba:
Side not - they did have an fs2000 for sale - $2595.

All you have to do is look at the spacer or lack of one.

For anyone in Cincy...Point Blank has AE 5.7 for $30/box. There were 13 boxes left when I left @ 5:00.
That's funny, last time I was in there (2-3 months ago) the girl behind the counter said "no, we don't have any, that's a dead caliber". Lol

LOL! I think I know the one you're talking about. There's three FiveSeven totin' guys that work there that will beg to differ. I'm glad they didn't get it all. It was hidden anyway...the only way I knew was that they had the rental ps90 available for shooting.

NRA weekend slated at Cabela’s
Cabela’s Columbus is partnering with the National Rifle Assocation for an NRA membership drive and series of firearms safety seminars Saturday and Sunday.

NRA Weekend is an annual Cabela’s event, and is the second at Cabela’s Columbus, 1650 Gemini Place at Polaris in Delaware County. Cabela’s Columbus hosted its first NRA Weekend in September 2013.

Seminars include:

• “Basic Pistol Safety Q&A on Ohio Concealed Carry” from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, at which NRA Certified Instructors from ColumbusCCW.com review basic pistol safety and information about obtaining a concealed handgun license.

• “Personal Protection in the Home” from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, at which NRA Instructors review home security measures, developing a security plan and implementing plans for security measures.

• “Get a Grip: Which Handgun is Best for You” from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, at which participants can learn about which firearm best fits their needs.

NRA Weekend will also include in-store product demonstrations and workshops including patterning your firearm for turkey season, ammo selection, knife sharpening and proper gun cleaning.

“It’s important to provide a comfortable, safe and enjoyable setting for people to become more education about firearm safety, Ohio conceal carry laws, home protection and more,” said Cabela’s Columbus spokesperson Derrek Shively. “Cabela’s is excited providing that venue during NRA Weekend.”

The NRA also will renew memberships and selling new memberships throughout the weekend at Cabela’s. Those who sign up for or renew a membership at $35 or more will receive a $25 Cabela’s gift certificate.

If you tried to join today and got a message about a “restricted account,” that’s what was going on. You can try again after they get this issue resolved.
