I went to the gun shop today with the intention of buying a FNP-45. However, when I got there I was holding the FNP-45 and was just about ready to buy when I ask the guy behind the counter when was the new Springfield XD-M 40's arriving? He look up and said "we just got two in". This gun holds 16+1 versus the old XD-40 which only held 12+1. The amazing part is the dimensions are virtually the same. I really thought it was time they made the 40 hold a few extra pills. My XD-45 is a 13+1 and feels excellent for a hi cap 45.

So, I bought the XD-M40. I will be picking it up later on this week, I will post pics soon! :shock:
