As a newbie, I just shot my 17S for the first time today. (awesome experience...fine weapon!) I need to equipt it with optics, and I have an AccuPoint TR24G 1-4X scope on order. I plan to mount it with a LaRue LT104 with QD speed lever mount. My concern is will the lever mount interfere with the bolt handle? (I'd like to determine this before I order the LaRue mount.) Appreciate your wise counsel, Oh exalted experts on all things SCAR. :)

If you run a left-side charging handle, you may want to run the LT-104 cantilevered "backwards" so that the QD levers are on the right side.

If you run a right-side charging handle, use the LT-104 normally (cantilevered forward).

Or, use an extended charging handle (like sarge's EACH or similar) and you can do whatever you want.

BTW, I run left-side charging handle, and the "backwards" LT-104 works just fine. No issues with zero or anything else. However, for the most part I now use the LT-111 for my 30mm tube scopes.
