Got the 45 with the ambidexterous (sp) safety. Should be here in a couple of weeks or before. Range report to follow by the end of August. Will probably have night sights put on it before I pick it up. What's the recommended trijicon size for the 45?

The thumb safety is incorporated into the decocker lever. Push it up for safe, mid for off safe, and down for decock. This is as I envision it. got a call that the pistol had arrived today, but once I got there it was the standard model with decocker only. The dealer had to call FN directly to get it straightened out since the product numbers in his book stated the model # that shipped had the safety when in fact it didn't. Will get back to you in about two weeks with the proper product # when I pick up the right pistol.

That would be a great alternative for carry mode.
Alas, mine has decocker only.
