Any word as to whether or not the FNP-9 can handle +P+ rounds? All the reviews I have read were written by guys who tested these rounds in them but I just don't know. (I am talking about FACTORY rounds, not handloads).

"+p+" can be anything - there really are no limits to that load. You will not find any gun company that will warranty their guns usually with the use of +p+

Honestly - if you want to use that, go buy a larger caliber - like a 40 cal...

Have seen some ballistic listings for NATO 9mm rds that look closed to our +P+ loads and I would bet the FNP9 would handle them as well as any other pistol but +P is enough for me. If I wanted more, I'd jump to the 40.

I just ran 50 +p+ rounds through it today without a hitch. But I will say that I was super nervous the entire time. I am glad it handled the rounds without a problem but I probably wont shoot that high of pressure again. +p is plenty anyways.

Cleaned the gun....no cracks or problems of any kind.

That's taking a chance. I do notice that the wall thickness of my FNP9's barrel is not as thick as my P99 - so, I'd be careful running +P+ thru it.

I was hoping someone would say, "shoot it all you want, no problems with +P+" I have 50 rounds of Magtech +P+ that i thought was only +P. Maybe I'll just shoot it out of my GLOCK 26, the barrel seems a little thicker. I might try it out just to see if it shoots better at a distance.
