I have a Leupold Mk4 4.5-14x50mm ER/T mounted with Farrell lows on the Badger Ordnance picatinny rail that comes standard with the FN SPR A1. I need to move the optic back a little farther on the rifle, but the objective bell will hit the badger ordnance rail if I move it back any further. I'm thinking about replacing the Badger Ordnance rail with a Leupold Mk4 rail because the Leupold rail does not have an extended front like the Badger does. As you can see in the picture, the optic objective has very little clearance above the barrel. I'm thinking both rails should be the same height in the front, but I'm insure because the badger has 20 MOA built in and the Leupold has 15 MOA built in. Theoretically the Leupold should increase the objectives barrel clearance (though ever so slightly) as long as the front of the rails are the same height above the receiver, correct?
