For those who want to see the difference in size with new pistols\carbines. I will update the post later with comparison pics of internals. On top is the POF MP5 sbr (922r parts installed, I will post pics of the original parts later) RCM carrier was milled out and gun refinished by Parabellum Combat Systems, purchased for the cool factor and wanted to try and build a lightweight full size mp5. In the middle is the all too well known CZ Scorpion EVO S1 which is the best economical pistol carbine in my opinion as it just works and priced right for most everyone. On the bottom is by far my favorite, the B&T APC45 (45Auto) which is by far the smallest of all 3 and uses a hydraulic buffer that makes the recoil feel like a 9mm. The trigger is almost as smooth as a geissele trigger, and best of all ar trigger groups fit for compliance parts which should be around 13 parts (same as UMP). This pistol soon to be carbine feels like a Scar UMP hybrid.8)

I don't own any of those three, but Imdo own a Vector SBR. I also own a SIG MPX-P (soon to be SBR'd) which should also be included in the comparison.
Agreed. If I had them I would, As these are my personal guns I will need to wait for funds for those. I did fire the mpx but was not impressed with the AR style charging handle and the amount of effort it took to charge it. Maybe when they come out with barrel kits or a 40 cal factory sbr then I will be all over the mpx. Besides this is just for reference to compare newer carbine/pistols to the mp5. I'll get internal pics soon.

How do you like the pof mp5? Was wondering whether to buy that or pay extra for one of the various clones available(pof is the Pakistani one Atlantic sells?). The extra savings is like free mags and sbr fees lol
The POF works great out of the box. Finish was crap and 1/2x28 threads where too long which are its biggest downfall (other than having to put US parts in it) but this carbine has been a straight shooter. If I were looking into the mp5 clones now I would look at the Zenith (MKE-Turkey) that were just re-released as they are about $200 more and come with 3 mags, a great case, and a sight mount. They also have much better looking internals and finish.

9mm Tavor looks like the ticket. Looks shorter than the other two though it has to be heavier. No SBR fees and no need to mess with the SBX. Winner in my book. Although the other two are sexy as hell... :(.
