Anyone tried, or know someone who has tried these piston conversions for AR's. Dang, it looks like a good thing, but 500 bucks? Would someone please make a reasonably priced one?

Bushmaster makes a retrofit that allows you to use your original front sight tower/gas block, price $400.

Dude, U have a serious AR fixation :lol:

I looked at some today - they don't really grab me. If I ever did get 1 - I would want something with a piston. There was a Sig 556 with an N Star red dot reflex sight at the gun show today - I really liked the reflex sight - but it didn't look very sturdy if you banged it (like I did with my Eotech on 1 occassion).

Anyway, I am not a rich guy, and I have so much stuck in my PS90. Being mainly a handgun guy anyway - I think the PS90 may just stay my only rifle. It suffices for anything I would ever want to do with it (not being a big rifle guy)

Carbines in general really. I like long rifles too I guess. Like the FAL and I want to get a some type of M1A someday and a bolt gun like a 700PSS to mess around with, but Carbines just appeal to me more.

M1 Carbines, SKS Carbines, AK's, AR's, PS90, and now I'm waiting on that 1873 18 inch Lever gun to come in. I would like to complete this next PS90 I'm working on as an SBR with a can and some subsonic ammo. Then sneak up on some unsuspecting coke cans.

For a gas pistol 223, check out the ATR-1. Mostly FN-FAL but takes AR mags..
