Mine fold up fine. I run a Eberlestock Phantom I don't really have a good picture of it so I'm borrowing one...you know what ill just grab some pics off SH should give you a better idea about then me rambling.

Phantom pack - Podclaws do fit however they are pretty aggressive so they can snag
