I had a bigger 8 point on cam but deleted unfortunately. It was pretty blurry. Didn't see a deer today and sat out there all day. Not much shooting either.

I had more deer on cam this year than the past 2 years combined and still didn't see a single one :Bubba:

Get out there stalk and Call.. I call in more deer when I get out and as far away from roads and thus bait hunters..The right Grunts and bleets will pull in the big guys, just be ready as they will come quick..

I stalk as much as I can. Only have 40 acres there and I don't like hunting public land (we are surrounded by private property). It was too crunchy early in the day to be moving around in the big woods, but I did go into our pines - which is where I've kicked out a fair number of deer when it's windy (like it was this morning where I was).

Rut hasnt started here yet. They get stupid when the're horny. All of my big 8+ bucks haven't showed their stuff during the day, but in a week or 2 they will be chasing the does around. I use a grunt horn as well - works good during the rut. I only have a 100 acres so I have to spray corn, otherwise I can walk around all day and not see ****.

I got some good daytime shots of him two weeks ago but I don't have them loaded. I would guess around 185-190" rack.

I've been tryin, got two 10s and a real nice heavy 9 that has been under me but that big boy will probably have me eating tag soup. Maybe this cold front will get him moving, things are starting to heat-up !
