Please forgive me if this has been answered every other day for the last month. I am very familiar with AR15s and their ballistics, range of zero, etc. My new PS90 is unfortunately very foreign to me though. My question is this, if I would like it to be zeroed at 50 yards and only have access to a 50 foot indoor range for the next month or so, How much lower should my POI be than my POA at 50 feet.

I'm sure that was as clear as mud but hopefully someone will get my question. I love the site and it is nice to be here.

Thanks a lot!

Here is a post I made about shooting SS195 with EoTech @ various ranges. Since the Eotech sits higher than the stock optics, the POI are different than those on the FNH ballistics graph.
You'll notice that POI is rather high @ 100 yards. It doesn't seem like you will be shooting at longer ranges, but if you were I would recommend a zero between 60 and 90 yards. Such a zero, with an Eotech, will keep all the shots, from 0 to 200 yards, in a smaller area than the 50 yard zero.

"I did a little shooting yesterday with my lightened trigger pull. I shot sub 1", 3-shot groups, @ 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards. SS195, EoTech.

With a zero at 50 yards I hit
-2.25" @ 25 yards
0 @50
+2.75 @ 75
+5.5 @ 100
I did some five-shot groups @ 100 yards, allowing myself less than a second per shot, these groups were mostly 2" wide x 5" high."

I love this combo. I put a 551 on mine. Question is, at 100 yrds. all I see is red dot all over a six inch target. Aiming 2" above etc. doesn't seem to be an option. So I put the red over the black and let the laws of physics take over. I think it gets me "close enough".

Did I mention I love this combo?

Really? Maybe if you turn the brightness down the dot will lose some of its fuzz and look smaller.

You make a good point- for defensive purposes it doesn't much matter. But if you want to show off and blast cans or old eggs or saltines or shotgun hulls....
