hey lately i have been having problems with my ps90 jamming. I dont have a clue as to why. i shot the first 200 rounds or so through it without a flaw, i was the happiest guy around for miles. then the next mag or two it failed to feed one of the rounds, the round didnt fall down fast enough and the action closed on it, which pushed the bullet back into the casing, I think i stil have it laying around ill try to find it and post a picture. then I went a while without a jam. Then today comes. I decide to go outside and shoot stuff. The first cool thing i see that would be neat to shoot is one of those taco bell dogs that make the yo quiero taco bell sound or w/e. so im sending stuffings flying, next thing i know, CLICK. WHAT? i take the mag off slowly and as i pull it up i hear the bolt slam forward. the round in the mag was pushed forward, like it was trying to go in and the tip of the bullet was deformed. so i put the mag back on it and chamber that round. shoot a few more times it does it again. i just pull the charge handle back and keep shooting. 2 rounds or so before the end it did it again! I shot about 26 or 27 rounds judging from the markings on the mag and I had 3 jams. Last cleaning was probably 100 or so rounds ago. Kinda got me pissed off that I payed 1250 bucks for a gun that jams several times a mag. Using ss195 ammo btw.

Sorry to hear that. check out this thread to see if you have one of the bad lot numbers

if not ... Take the gun apart and do a comlete cleaning ecspecially cleaning out the chamber. you must put 1 drop of oil in it to help with the ejection process.

If that doesn't work call Bob Ailes at FNUSA. He will help you out. :?

I cleaned it real good, put lil bit of oil on a qtip and rubbed it around in the chamber. disassembled the mag and re-assembled to check for dirt and grim, nothing. Took it to the range afterwords and shot it, only shot half a mag because I am just about out of food for it :( no jams so I guess all is good  was running out of daylight when i finally pulled it out but shot 3 shots from 100 yards, was fairly happy with the accuracy for what it was designed for. moved up closer to the ranges it was designed for and was very happy with the accuracy of it. Lots of people complain about the stock white ring sight, but in the semi low light conditions I was shooting in and against the target (white paper with a black human sillote) I was very happy with it. could see the white ring perfectly and it had the illuminated T lit up as well. white my light on I could no longer see the circle but but I could see the T perfectly. Fun little gun!

doing it again. the next time i took it out it started going it again, this time worse than last. when it got to ~10 rounds left i started jamming after EVERY SINGLE SHOT. I have 3 of the bullets with the projectiles pushed back into the casing.. ill take a pic when i get a chance. Im wondering if its the mag. mag has never seen any dirt so idk..

I'm with ShipWreck check the mag good. I had some brand new ones that had little pieces of plastic inside just from the manufacturing process. Also I had one mag where the follower would get stuck in the middle and not keep pressure on the ammo. Give them a good cleaning out and make sure the follower moves feely thru the tube. I just switched my followers around and had no more problems.

Photonance is having bad trouble with his PS90 doing the same thing on reloads... he's loading 55gn at about 1150fps... he'll get about 10 off then the same things happens... it rams the bullet into the case. Maybe not enough pressure to cycle the both all the way back allowing enough time for the next round to drop down? Maybe the 'twist block' in the mag needs lubing for smooth case feed operation? I had a similair problem with my carbon15 pistol... I had to shorten the spring on it... but the PS90 is another beast in it's entirety! If he finds a fix, I'lol post it.

I'm glad someone posted this as I hadn't gotten around to it. I have been seeing this a lot as well.

When I saw it, the person used over 5 different mags all with the same results.

I'm not thinking it is the mags.
