Hi all!

Wife just called to tell me that my PS90 SBR conversion by TROS is home! It does not come with a flash hider but I have one on the way from SgtStryker. How do you install the factory FH? Locking nut? Crush washer? Timing washers? I want to get it up n' running ASAP.

Pics when done!

Thanks Jhs! So I take from the brief tutorial there is no spacer or washer needed, right? Do you use loctite or Rocksett? I have red medium strength, high temp loctite on hand.

NO Loctite. Just torque it in place and you'll be fine.

The flash hider in the tutorial is the old variant. The latest style is different and cannot be held with a wrench.

Very nice. Someday I'll get off my butt and get my paperwork rolling.

Robert,

I need to see a picture of the muzzle of your barrel. Side profile is fine but it has to be clear.

Thanks.

Nice knife! It looks like you already have a barrel nut installed?

It looks like they installed a barrel nut that has standard AR-15 threads so that any standard AR-15 flash hider will just screw on, no?

Correct. It came from TROS with his adapter installed and an AR FH. I have to remove the adapter (wish I would have told him not to install it) to place the factory unit.

Robert,

Correct, there's no need for a thread adpater when utilizing the FN P90 flash hider. I couldn't make out the muzzle end of your weapon, and that's why I asked for a picture.
