Just picked up my Scar last week and wanted to know if anyone has this rail extension on their rifle? If so, I haven't seen much info on if this is the best one to order since there are about 3 or 4 companies making these right now. Is this the best option for my Scar? correct fit? I.ve read the FNH one doesnt fit quite right and is a bit more expensive. I like the fact the PWS one has built in QD swivel points.
also, are there been any issues with the QD sling points on it?

I have/had the Midwest, PWS, Branham & MREX extensions and they are all good. All had excellent fit and finish and functioned perfectly. The QD's on the PWS work fine, never had any issues with them. Have you determined how your setting up the rifle? If so, that would be a good contributor to the extension you go with. My personal preference is Branham on the 16 CQC and MREX on the 17.

I like the SRX. I especially like that the forward section of top rail is lower than the rifle's rail. I believe all other brands are the same height.

I've been considering parting ways with mine. I thought I'd prefer gripping the rifle further out but since buying it I find myself more often than not gripping the stock forearm. So there's no need for the extra weight out there for me.

I'm 6 foot 4 inches in height and have a long reach so I wanted to get an extension cause right now my stance doesn't feel right. I wanted to stretch out the rail a little bit and than put the Magpul Mag414 AFG2 and see if that helps.

I was in the same situation(6'5" here), I just found I really don't need the extra rail space unless I was going to put a bipod on. I thought extending my grip out would be more comfortable but after trying it out I found I preferred keeping my support hand in closer.
