I read some where about the lead free primers having a shelf life. I can't find it again, if I do a search "lead free" I get more pages than I can look at. Does anybody know where I saw it?
I've heard max of ten years, likely less with moisture and temp changes. It is due to the use of some form of aluminum in the primer compound vs lead. Aluminum oxidizes VERY quickly in unfinished form.
