Question regarding refinishing affecting the pistol value

I have a rare, factory SFS in .40. It comes in factory blue. Other versions had a factory black poly finish that is more durable.

If I refinish my blued version to the black poly finish (This is my CCW piece), will that hurt the collectors value of the pistol?

There is no substitute for carry worn blue unless you salt water boat. I agree about refinance if you want.
