Many auto loaders, to facilitate the reloading process, have areas in the chamber that are unsupported. I may be wrong, but I think Glocks have the largest area.

You can get away with “hot” loads in a revolver, but with an autoloader, you are asking for trouble.

It makes one wonder just how many bulged cases made it through the resizing phase un-noticed.
