They've been discontinued, simple as that. They will continue to make them as long as there is a market and demand. Simple as that.

Yay!The F2000 will still be made so there will be spare parts.
Wait wut? They've been discontinued, simple as that.
The FS2000.Wait wut?
That is probably the exact thing they are doing. They did say production halted and not discontinued and many firearms come and go all the time e.g. HK mark23. Also, even though the 2K is in service with some militaries it doesn't have that connection to our military the SCAR line has. It would be cool to know how many 2Ks they sell a year versus how many SCAR 17s. The 2K is near perfect and the "issues" it has are probably not enough to refresh it but if they do I am really intrigued as to what it would be. FN FX2000I am hoping they are not simply doubling down on the SCAR platform at the cost of others.

RIP Big TunaI think it's production halted and discontinued.
Man, this sucks.. Will they still honor the lifetime guarantee?
How about spare parts availability?
FN will still warranty the weapon. What I can do, is provide parts support for the FS2000 for a very long time.

N.I.B. guns will become collectible to the purists. As to what the market will bear, who knows on the short term... but the long term will definitely see an positive side.It will be interesting to watch how this plays out on Gunbroker over the next year.
Will you be able to provide parts they have previously not sold to the masses (aka. the rest of us), such as barrels and receivers in the future?I will be able to support the platform with spare parts for an indefinite timeframe.

Oh, ok. I thought someone said that the Tactical switched the "receiver" to a different part so the stock was now available. Must have been mistaken. The stock is still restricted (it was considered the receiver) along with the ejection chute.
