Hey all, I'm a new scar owner, new to the platform and enjoying learning it. I took the rail panels off of the front and I like the feel of the rifle without them. Is there any reason I can't run the gun like this? I assume this has been discussed before but my search didn't yeild what I was looking for. Thanks!

Yes, the rails can go! The Torx bolts (5,6) must stay- 62 in/lbs. in pattern.

Don't forget to remove the foward retaining nuts and rear retaining clip or they will rattle around in the reciever.

Awesome, Thanks! I figured they should be able to stay off, but just wanted to make sure all the screws that held them on weren't essential to the rifle's function.
