It is true, Washington state law prohibits private ownership of short barrelled rifles and shotguns.

i have a ps90 i am looking at putting a short barrel on it but i havent gotten a reply back from anyone at the police station. I know there is paperwork involved and i have it all. people are telling me washington state will not let you own one is this true?? any info would help me out thanks

Yup, sucks to live in Warshington.
I can attest to the crappiness of this law. Even worse, The state teases us by allowing for Suppressor ownership, but makes it against the law to use them... :roll:
I can have a suppressor and even have it mounted to a rifle or pistol, but shame on me if I actually use it!
