This part rests above the barrel and can be removed when the barrel is removed. Does anyone know if this is a newly added feature and what it's purpose is, and if it's mandatory for the SCAR to function???? Any help would be appreciated.
See how it has a little image of a cartridge on it? My theory is that it's like a little road sign to remind the cartridges which way they should go into the chamber. If they don't get confused then we get less misfeeds.
