Ha ha...must be L1A1 inch patternand not Belgian metric! How long did it take to ship from Australia?
I use regular stripper clips made for an M14, no special FAL stripper clips. Most likely the stripper clip design is STANAG.Good to know. I still have the stripper clip guide for the SAR-48. The problem is where the heck do you find the FAL stripper clips?
I never knew FN had specific stripper clips. I've been using M14 strippers with my FALs for years with no issue. I'll have to search for a pic to see what the difference is.There are FN Stripper Clip Adapters included in the SCAR Operator's Tool Kit for the 16 and 17. They are very compact and look easy enough to use. Haven't had any stripper clips around to try them though.
I don't know that they are FN specific stripper clips, the FN Stripper Clip Adapters I mentioned hold the stripper clips to their respective magazines, similar to the one in the original post (only less than 1/3rd the size).. Their use is detailed in the SCAR Operator's Manual in the magazine loading section.I never knew FN had specific stripper clips. I've been using M14 strippers with my FALs for years with no issue. I'll have to search for a pic to see what the difference is.
great loaderThats cool! I've been using the Scar Maglula and it works really well. It's fast and easy and really helps to not gouge the rounds on the sharp mag edges, especially when unloading.
