Good to know. Something about loading those big fat steel magazines with .308 by hand puts a smile on my face. But if ever I am crunched for time it would be nice to have an alternative.

There are FN Stripper Clip Adapters included in the SCAR Operator's Tool Kit for the 16 and 17. They are very compact and look easy enough to use. Haven't had any stripper clips around to try them though.
I never knew FN had specific stripper clips. I've been using M14 strippers with my FALs for years with no issue. I'll have to search for a pic to see what the difference is.

I don't know that they are FN specific stripper clips, the FN Stripper Clip Adapters I mentioned hold the stripper clips to their respective magazines, similar to the one in the original post (only less than 1/3rd the size).. Their use is detailed in the SCAR Operator's Manual in the magazine loading section.

I use the NCStar speedloader. I put all my 308 and 5.56 ammo on 10-rd stripper clips. Its pretty awesome

I used to use the Mag LuLa for 5.56. Now I use the Strip LuLa and stripper clips. Waaaaay faster reloads. I like it so much I gave away my Mag LuLa to my bud. You do have to spend some time to preload the stripper clips of course, which I normally do prior to being at the range. More shooting and less loading make range trips much more fun. Long-term plan is to have a stash already in stripper clips in a can. Will probably do the same with 7.62 once I finally get my hands on my new 17s in a couple weeks.

Here is another option: http://www.amazon.com/Cammenga-EasyLoader-Magazine-Loader-REL308-A/dp/B003324L2U
