I’ve got a scar 17 with a primary 1-8 LPVO and a rmr on 45° mount.

I was thinking 25 yards but wasn’t sure how the arch would be up close and out to 45.

Best to follow the scope instructions so the POA & POI coincide.

I don't think anyone answered your question. Assuming you'll be using the LPVO (even if it's at 1x) for anything over 50 yards, I'd zero the RMR for room distances. A 25 yard zero will put you pretty much dead on between 0-75 yards. Keep in mind that at anything closer than 25 (if that's your zero distance) you'll have to compensate for height over bore.
