Wondering if anyone knows what grain ammunition the scars twist rate was designed for. Thanks

Bahhhhh a few years ago everyone on here swore up and down it was Mk319... or maybe that ammo was designed for or in conjunction with the SCAR aka Mk17??? M118LR seems plausible being the most proliferated "match grade" 7.62x51 ammo in the system... the 168gr answer is laughable as there is not a standardized military cartridge using a 168gr projectile

Maybe not be a standard (168gr) in the Military but so far it seems to give the best results in our SCAR17.

The M118 is 173 or 175 grain.

This is the last 460 rounds I have. I also had lots from 1964 , 1966 and 1972. I purchased them from the estate of a former Service Rifle shooter. about eight years ago. 1380 rounds for under $ 350 ! Those were the days !
