Hi all,

I have a couple hundred rounds down range with my rifle now and have noticed that there is a noticeable offset in my barrel screws. Is this something to worry about? I’ve tried remounting and torquing the barrel a few times with no change. Looking back at older photos it seems this offset has always existed to some degree. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

i would guess normal as mine is even less centered in relation to the holes in the $5 plastic "screw support" that covers them. that plastic part is not actually part of the barrel's attachment to the receiver. i think it is just meant to protect those barrel extension screws from damage and snagging.

Normal... and theLBC is correct...as well as retaining the screws during barrel change...
