LMT M203 Title 1 Receiver
Buy a real rail mounted M203 receiver then get a smooth bore 37mm barrel assembly and a steel SOCOM lower rail and support and put something worth having on your friggin SCAR if you really feel like you need such a heavy doodad for launching smoke and flares.
I think the action length on the newer rail mounted models is long enough to launch Willie Pete parachute flares which might actually have some sort of practical value.
The whole package done right will cost about as much as a used SCAR.
Personally unless I was going to do a DD tax stamp/40mm unit and have a vest full of HEDP and a couple of cases of blue tips to practice with I wouldn't bother with anything that heavy that wasn't belt fed but to each their own.

You can have fun with it if you register it as a DD and pay $200 for the tax stamp.

Do they make cool 37mm rounds? Out are the real cool ones ask 40mm? Of it's not a registered DD are you limited to just flares?
Anything that can be considered a projectile other than a flare or a paper/plastic smoke is prohibited.
40mm barrels are rifled and can spin arm HE rounds, they have toe be registered as a DD, 37mm barrels are smooth bore and can't arm anything but the minute you try to run something like a 12ga adapter or flechette round you just made it into an unregistred DD due to bore size and application.
If you are going to play with these be content with what's legally kosher for your launcher. If you really want to do more than just flares then spend the big bucks on a real M203 setup and make it a registered DD then you have all sorts of cool rounds other the $400+$200 tax unobtanium HE rounds to play with(buckshot, flechette, tear gas, hives).
If you try to be silly and launch something that can be considered any sort of weapon out of your 37mm launcher you are asking for huge trouble.

Yeah I thought each explosive round had a$200 tax, wonder if they also had to be produced before a certain date or if you could have them made by a licensed dealer. The tear gas and smoke rounds would be cool though
