Nice videos, I like the barrel clamped in the vice for cleaning. How many do this, and what type of pads do you use in the vice to avoid scratching the barrel?

Anybody got a pick of the hammer spring pivot point he oiled with the needle oiler? It's a bit difficult to see.

i use two wood blocks in my vice with some rosin i dont teally care if there are marks except on my uberti 1873 and winchester 70. my scar... meh its not a beauty queen. all i care about is not bending anything that shouldnt be bent.

once the barrel is off first time you can mount dismount the barrel on a table or bench or lap with no special holder. although clamping the barrel with the gasport up makes cleaning a snap
