I wonder what the markings are for?

Grunt mark their gear like that all the time. It helps them keep track of gear and at times they use these designators instead of norminclature in reports, if you know what I mean.

Make me the president...

...and I'll put Ergo grips on all those SCARS!

Our troops have been suffering (IMO) with that craptastic standard grip for far too long!

Yes, I'm aware that the SCAR might not be the next standard rifle but I'm pretending like it is.

Because it should be. :!:

I'm glad someone agrees with me. The first prototype scars with the para grip would have been so much better!

Grips are pretty much a matter of fiat from higher up or, if you are lucky, personal preference.

I can live with the OEM grip as frequently pictured, but it isn't my preference. Neither of the other grips mentioned or shown do anything for me (heck, elsewhere I'm trying to sell multiple Ergo grips but I can't find any takers).

If you get one, swap the grips. Preferably for the one from TangoDown ... ;) ... but that's just my preference.
