I can't really tell, so HPT seems like a good answer. Man...That's one nose-heavy carbine.

The switch comes with a piece of Velcro that has adhesive on the back so you can stick it wherever you like on your rifle. Then you stick the switch the the Velcro piece. They also make a rail mounted option for the switch if you prefer to go that route.

SR switch doesn't come with velcro like most other Surefire kits do. They're molded as a rail grabber which you'll need to cut off to mount flush - It's a permanent modification.

I asked the same question a while back when I ran out of rail space... As previously stated and per the owner of the SCAR in the pic...


..., I used a piece of double side velcro tape cut to the same size as the pad. It comes in a roll that is around 2 inches wide and it is HEAVY DUTY. I bought mine at Lowe's in the tape section and I have used it to stick a first aid kit in my jeep w/o issue.
