I have a Rem 700 bdl, synth aluminum bedded stock and a bull barrel. I take this to my buddies in Vermont and we shoot at some very long ranges. I had a cheap $100 POS 6-32 scope on it but it has since crapped out.

Can someone recomend a mid priced scope for this rifle? I dont wont to go crazy as I only shoot this a few times per year

I don't really care for the reticule's, but it is kinda in the range you're looking for.

Maybe a Burris if you're willing to go a touch higher.

I am considering getting a Rem model seven in 7mm-08 and putting a Shepherd scope on it. You may wish to read up on them, they are pretty interesting.
