LOL Maybe you didn't intend to bring out laughs but your post caused a small group to laugh out loud. You might be right, but it's pretty funny - void the warranty! Cheers!
I was trying to throw a little humor in there. I have never had an issue with my any of my back straps. Then again, mine are always covered with a slip on grip.


JasonC - I bet you are correct in your assumption. Seems like a nifty modification. I would hate to have to carry an extra tool just for the back strap, but once it is on I really doubt that you would have any need to take it back off other than for maintenance or cleaning.

This was my solution as well for when I get an FNX eventually. I actually bought an FNP backstrap screw for it.

+1 - good idea Dan! I personally like the backstrap feature on the FNX, and haven't had any issues with it. :?
