You are right! I threw some loctite on them to help ensure they won't move and I haven't seen a POI shift yet. I found the screws work well for me as something of a thumb rest (index point)Looks like your running it without the side rails! Are the foward barrel bolts staying snug without the detent clips? It would be great if you would post some side photos as well. Thanks!
I cut my side rails down to the detent clips, but have thought about going all the way and mounting the light to the 12 o'clock rail. I trimmed the rear bolts on mine to plug the holes, and may look into lower profile front barrel support bolts if I decided to go railess.
You were right with your terms and I understood the question. I am not sure if it will affect anything yet. I know there are a few other dual charging handle setups out there but not with the EACH. Stormbringer, that seems to be a new thing is to run the light on the 12, especially with something like the Inforce or Haley light.Excuse my ignorance and likely misuse of terms, but would it cause any negative effects to attach "that much weight" to the BCG? I probably just slaughtered that question. Does it make any difference if you add weight to the ... movey-part like that?
There is a video in this thread that shows what is needed to modify and install. How does the dual charging handle set up get installed? Is there any modifications required?
I'll make a thread and some pics ill be making but Wags vid is definitely ground zero on this subject. How does the dual charging handle set up get installed? Is there any modifications required?
