I don't reload and if I did I would still buy factory new ammo for SD.

For 50 rounds of SD ammo, not too bad. Go to your local store and look at the price of the 20 round boxes...
This is the same as the infamous Black Talon which still sells for more than 2x this price!

That is the Winchester 147gr SXT round which does not have the black lube coating on it. I thought the Ranger-T rounds are slightly different than the SXT round?

I will compare when I receive the Ranger-T rounds as I do have few boxes of 147gr SXT rounds still.
Click on link, read description, this is the latest version of the "Evil BLACK Talon" which Winchester voluntarily quit selling as the Black Talon due to the anti-gun crowd back in the day, they basically renamed it and it is no longer "Evil" since a Ranger is always a good guy! Same as FNH voluntarily restricting their ss 198 & ss 190 to LE only!
Comparison of the Winchester JHP 147gr SXT and 147gr Ranger-T. The Ranger-T series has a more open and deeper hollow point.

Nail Finger Wood Ammunition

Left is the SXT and T-Series on right.

U might be interested in the RIP ammo, however it is expensive if found and despite great reviews and evil looking bullet most of its damage is mainly surface damage and not really good for defense!https://www.google.com/search?q=rip...m%2FG2-RIP-9MM-Ammo-p%2Fg2rip-9mm.htm;622;440
$30 does seem a little expensive, especially when the Federal HST and Speer Gold Dots are @ $25

For boxes of 50 and 147 gr bullets? I've been trying to find 147 gr HST's for a while.

The Speer GD's are 147 and $26 and the Federal HST 124 +P are $25 at sgammo. 10-4 on the 50rd box but they are sold out now.

Looking at all the ballistic tests on the different HST's, it doesnt look like there is any difference in performance.

I got and email from SGAmmo.com for the 147gr HST but I when I went to their website it was already sold out. I was able to order some 124gr HST rounds back in December and they shoot well in my FNX-9. I definitely want to buy some 147gr HST rounds but right now at least a got some 147gr Rangers-T rounds now.

I was also able to buy some 124gr standard pressure Speer Gold Dot rounds from SGAmmo but they are out of stock now as well.
Update since the 147gr Ranger-T (RA9T) rounds do not cycle reliably in my FNX-9. I was keeping my gun loaded with 124gr HST rounds. Last week I received some 147gr HST +P rounds and today I fired 100 rounds with out any issues. So I am using 147gr +P HST rounds in my FNX-9 now.

Seems somewhat wasteful to fire 100 rounds of HST to see my FNX-9 cycles it reliably though.
