I am also very new to the ps-90 and picked one up yesterday. I see that the OEM FN brand side rail is $60 per side. Are they superior in any way or simply brand name? Apparently the older aftermarket versions were not long enough or good enough for some reason, but are these noted above good quality and hearty? are these metal or plastic?

To be honest, $60 per side is too damn steep of a price for what they are and what they do.

What about damage industries? Are they good to order from?

I thought about the Damaged Industries ones.
Out of all the people I talked to face to face who had them have nothing bad to say about them.
And even on-line, here in FN Forums, I do not recall a thread from anyone complaining about them.

PS90 Side Rail - 9 Slot w/QD Socket and Offset Kit

I just placed an order for the MPF Technology ones.
I bought it to install on the left side of my PS90 and will give that a try.
If all goes well, I will place another order for another rail to add to the right side of the receiver.

New to the PS90 just picked mine up yesterday and submitted my form 1 for the SBR convertion. Thanks for the information on the rails. Just ordered 2 from MPF for less than the price of 1 from FN, also they were in stock.

Grats on the PS90 and the SBR conversion makes it look awesome.

I ordered only one rail just for the left side right now and I will bolt that on once it comes in and see how my tac light will look on it.
If I like it and how it is positioned, I will order another rail for the right side for sighting laser

Correction to what I posted in Post #9: I did not order the MPF rails, I ordered the other ones from Bullpuparmory.com

I had them for a few days now and I finally just installed them.
It's a very well machined piece and I really like the QD slot.

When you buy these, you only get one rail.
You have must orxer two of them if you need a rail on both sides of your PS90

For now, I have the QD slot forward, and I installed a tac light with the head of the light over the QD slot, so detaching the sling is not an option for me.
I am considering turning the rail around with the QD slot to the rear of my light.
